Don’t we love seeing a TikTok challenge of women supporting women? I know I certainly do, and this “girl-to-girl” trend is the best one so far. This TikTok trend is basically women asking women for advice in any aspect of life: relationships, lifestyle, beauty hacks, etc.
In the article, I have specifically gone through tens of these videos on TikTok and created a list of small habits that have changed women’s lives that stood out the most! You know those small rituals that just make you feel so good that you don’t know how you’ve ever lived a day before starting them? This list is all about that.

This post is all about small habits that have changed women’s lives, according to TikTok’s “girl-to-girl” trend.
1. Hatch alarm clock or lumie
No more waking up to aggressive phone alarms. A Lumie, or its dupe, a Hatch alarm, is said to have improved their sleep quality and makes them wake up without the stress of a phone alarm clock. Plus, it imitates natural sunrise and sunset if you’d like to adjust these to your wake-up and sleep-time routine.
2. Spray tan membership
A girl mentioned how this has made her feel way more confident about her skin throughout the winter and cured her seasonal depression!
3. Lymphatic drainage massage
She specifically mentioned that people started asking her if she had lost weight since she started doing the lymphatic drainage massages because her face looked thinner and she felt so debloated.

4. Unusual things to remind yourself you have free will
I absolutely love this one! Some girls mentioned that they do things like randomly drive somewhere and spend the day there, go into a store that’s way outside their budget, go to the movies solo, wake up at the crack of dawn and watch the sunrise, or just take the subway with no destination in mind!
Just the idea of not being held to expectations or following a system seems so freeing. Another example is intentionally misusing things, like drinking water from a vase instead of a bottle! Complete use of free will here.
Sometimes, because of all the rules around us, we forget that many things in life are within our hands to do, and it’s such a freeing feeling to realize that.
5. Putting your phone on DND
Because you get to decide when you’re available. Putting your phone on DND is like setting a boundary with the world—it’s a reminder that not everyone needs instant access to you and that you deserve uninterrupted time to yourself.
6. Tea instead of snacking
If you constantly have the desire to sip or snack on something, tea is a great option. You can have teas in different flavors and with many benefits.
Comforting, hydrating, and cozy.
7. Reading for an hour because TikTok friend her brain cells
Because TikTok fried our collective attention span, although I love it and have gotten all these amazing tips from it.
8. Waking up earlier led to having a slower-paced morning, which cures the nervous system
Waking up earlier = slower mornings = not rushed for work = nervous system reset.
9. Having a cat
I’m a true believer that having a furry friend gives you the emotional support equivalent to a partner. No explanation is needed here.
10. Volume eating
A life hack for feeling full while still eating nutritious and delicious food. Think big salads, soups, and veggies that keep you satisfied.
11. Getting 10k steps a day
Not just a fitness goal, but a whole mood reset. It will keep you feeling active even on your non-workout days or if you don’t work out at all.
12. Digestion walks
A game-changer for good digestion and not feeling bloated after food, and it will make getting your steps in easier. Even 10 minutes is good after a meal.
13. Brushing teeth with the non-dominant hand helps the brain wake up
Wakes up your brain in a weirdly effective way.
14. Limiting social media
Giving your brain a break and detoxing it from all the stimulus.
15. Transitioning scroll habits to Pinterest, where you can explore your interests creatively without overwhelming noise
Still fun, but way less overstimulating. Plus, it helps you feel creative and inspired afterward when you create pin boards with things you love or that inspire you.
16. Always have water on you. Like all the time.
Hydrated girls always have their emotional support water bottle.
17. Doing a dance workout video every night after work to shake any negative feelings after the work day
Moves stagnant energy, shifts your mood, and makes you feel great after.
18. Putting timers on social media accounts
So your five-minute scroll doesn’t turn into two hours.
19. Crying instead of crashing out
Feelings don’t stay stored; let them out and feel great afterward.
20. Habit stacking
Pair something you have to do with something you love to do. For example, if you hate doing the dishes, pair it with your favorite podcast. If you hate cleaning, pair it with a good playlist.
If you hate studying, pair it with your favorite tea.
21. Peppermint tea after dinner
A gentle way to help digestion, relax, and mark the end of the day.
I loved going through all of these TikTok videos on small habits that have made a huge difference in life, and I will surely be incorporating a few!! Which ones did you like the most, and were you already doing any of these? We’d love to know!
